Chapter 1

What is Sukulu?

Sukulu is the creator platform from LocalPilot. You get everything a Skool, Kajabi, or Circle gives you — courses, a community, and paid memberships — plus a real website of your own. AI drafts the whole thing for you in about a minute.

💜 What makes it different

0% platform fees. Members pay you directly through your own Stripe account — Sukulu never takes a cut of your membership revenue (you only pay Stripe's normal processing fee). One flat $97/month runs everything: courses, community, live sessions, funnels, webinars, and a published website at sukulu.app/your-handle.

🎓
Courses
Structured lessons with video (YouTube/Vimeo), PDFs and downloads, rich text, quizzes, and certificates. Members watch, track progress, and earn completion.
💬
Community (CampFire)
Channels, posts, threads, live sessions, a members directory, and gamified levels — a real home for your people, not just a comment box.
💳
Memberships
Free, subscription (monthly/yearly), one-time, or tiered access — collected through your own Stripe. You keep 100% minus Stripe's fee.
🌐
Your website
A polished public landing page at sukulu.app/your-handle — the front door to your courses and community, ready to share and rank on Google.
Chapter 2

Create your space

You don't start with a blank page. Describe your idea and AI drafts a real starting point — a first course, a community with channels, art, and a welcome session — that you then shape.

1
Go to the Create page
Open sukulu.app/create and tell Sukulu what you teach or what your community is about — one sentence is enough (e.g. "A membership for options traders learning weekly income strategies").
2
Create your account
Sign up with email or Google. This is your creator login — the same account you'll use to manage everything.
💡 Whenever you sign in from sukulu.app, you land straight in your Studio. Signing in on localpilot.pro takes you to the classic business dashboard instead.
3
AI drafts your space
In under a minute you get a drafted course, a community with a starter channel, cover art, a welcome event, and a first quiz — all editable. Nothing is public yet; you're building privately.
4
Land in your Studio
You're dropped into your Studio home — your command center for shaping, previewing, and publishing.
Chapter 3

Your Studio

The Studio (at dashboard → mode studio) is your home base. Each card opens a focused editor; the launch checklist tracks what's left before you go live.

⚙️

Your space name, pricing, membership access — and your community logo (see Chapter 5).
🧭 Getting around

Use Full dashboard to reach the classic dashboard, 👁 Member view to preview exactly what a student sees (works before you publish), and 🚪 Sign out — all in the Studio header. When editing courses, a top toolbar lets you jump between them.

Chapter 4

Build your courses

Open 📚 Courses from the Studio. Each course holds lessons; each lesson can carry a video, a downloadable resource, and rich formatted notes.

1
Add a lesson
Open a course and add lessons in order. Give each a clear title — this is what students see in the curriculum.
2
Add a video
Paste an unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link. Sukulu detects the video and plays it privately inside the lesson — your video stays gated to members.
🎬 Unlisted (not private) is the right YouTube setting — private videos can't embed.
3
Attach resources & write notes
Upload a PDF or worksheet, and use the rich-text editor for lesson notes (headings, lists, links, bold). Great for summaries and homework.
4
Preview it as a member
Hit 👁 Member view anytime to see the student experience — even while everything is still a private draft.
5
Publish the course
When a course is ready, publish it. (Individual courses can be published while the whole space is still a draft — publishing a course is how the "Edit your first course" launch step gets checked off.)
Chapter 5

Your community

Your CampFire community is where members talk, ask, and stick around. Open 💬 Community from the Studio to set up channels and posts.

Add a community logo

A logo makes your community recognizable in the directory and on member dashboards. Without one, cards show a colored letter tile.

1
Open your community, then ⚙️ Settings
Inside your community's left sidebar (as the owner) you'll see ⚙️ Settings.
2
Upload under "Community logo"
At the top of the settings sheet, click Upload, pick a square PNG/JPG (under 5MB), and it saves instantly. Use Change or Remove anytime.
🖼️ Your card on the Go CampFire directory switches from the letter tile to your logo right away.
Chapter 6

Members & memberships

Invite people for free to build momentum, then turn on paid access when you're ready. Money flows through your own Stripe — Sukulu takes 0%.

Invite members free

From 👥 Members, invite students by email to join at no charge — perfect for seeding your community or migrating people you already have (there's an "Import from Skool" option too).

Turn on paid access

1
Connect Stripe
In ⚙️ Settings, connect your Stripe account. This is where members' payments land — directly to you.
2
Choose a pricing model
Free, Subscription (monthly, yearly, or both), One-time lifetime access, or Tiers (multiple levels, each unlocking different channels/courses). Add a free trial if you like.
3
Keep 100% (minus Stripe)
Sukulu charges no platform fee on memberships. Members are granted or revoked automatically as their subscription changes.
💳 If a multi-tier price is set, your public page shows the lowest tier as the starting price.
Chapter 7

Funnels & webinars

Grow your audience with owner-hosted landing pages and automated webinars — all AI-drafted and hosted on your space. Open 🎯 Funnels from the Studio.

🧲
Opt-in & sales pages
Capture emails with a lead magnet, or pitch a paid offer. Sukulu drafts the copy; you tweak and publish.
🎥
Automated (evergreen) webinars
Upload a recording that plays on a schedule or just-in-time. Registrants get reminders, join an offset-synced watch room, see timed offers, and can watch the replay — all automatic.
Chapter 8

Publish & go live

When your space feels ready, subscribe to publish. That flips your draft into a live website and unlocks inviting members and taking payments.

1
Hit Publish in the Studio
Use the Publish button (header or launch checklist). It's $97/month — 0% fees on your memberships, cancel anytime.
2
You're live at sukulu.app/your-handle
Your public page goes live and starts appearing on Google. Share the link everywhere — it's your front door.
3
Invite & grow
Invite your first members, post a welcome, host your welcome session, and turn on referrals to reward members for bringing friends.
✅ You're launched

Courses drafted and published, community set up with a logo, pricing live, and your page public. From here it's all momentum — post consistently, run a webinar, and let referrals compound.

Chapter 10

Common questions

Does Sukulu take a cut of my membership revenue?
No. Sukulu charges 0% platform fees on memberships. Members pay through your own connected Stripe account, so you keep 100% minus Stripe's standard processing fee. Your only Sukulu cost is the flat $97/month.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. You build your entire space for free — courses, community, pricing setup, previews — and only subscribe ($97/mo) when you're ready to publish and go live.
Can I move my members from Skool or another platform?
Yes. From the Members area you can invite people by email to join free, and there's an "Import from Skool" flow to bring paying members over onto your own Stripe.
Where do my videos live?
Host them as unlisted YouTube or Vimeo videos and paste the link into a lesson. Sukulu plays them privately inside the gated lesson so only members can watch.
Do I really get a website, or just a page?
A real, indexable public page at sukulu.app/your-handle — the front door to your courses and community. It's built to rank on Google and is yours to share.
Why didn't my Studio open when I signed in?
Sign in from sukulu.app to land in your Studio. Signing in on localpilot.pro opens the classic business dashboard instead. (Platform admins always land on the main dashboard.)
